Housekeeper who had child with man she worked for has claims on estate struck out

Gemma Lynette McConkey claimed, in the High Court in Palmerston North, Noel Clarke's daughters altered his will, depriving her of money from his estate. Gemma Lynette McConkey tried to claim a slice of Noel Clarke's estate, saying she was in a de facto relationship with him until his death in August 2014. McConkey used that law to try to get in on the estate, despite Clarke's will stating he wanted everything left to his children. The son she had with Clarke also disputed her claim, saying there was no relationship after his birth. In her appeal, she claimed Clarke's daughters illegally changed his will, as he intended to leave everything to her.
