The fire at a timber yard caused disruption to services at Euston stationA huge fire tore through a warehouse in northwest London this morning, triggering the evacuation of nearby homes and major delays to the London transport network. Trains services in and out of Euston station were suffering from severe disruption, with no service on many London Midland, Virgin Trains and Southern routes. London Midland warned passengers not to travel to Euston. Network Rail said the fire at a timber yard had damaged a trackside retaining wall. People on a London Midland service from Euston to Milton Keynes had to be evacuated from the train at Headstone Lane as a result of the fire.
