The House of Representatives minority bloc may initiate a probe into controversies hounding Deputy Minority Leader ACTS-OFW Rep. Aniceto “John” Bertiz. “There may be a possibility that we may have to take this up to the ethics committee,” said Minority Leader Rep. Danilo Suarez (Quezon 3rd District). ADVERTISEMENTHe was referring to an incident at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (Naia) where Bertiz was caught on security video appearing to confront a security checker. The video has gone viral on social media and stirred the ire of netizens. The airport incident came just days after he figured in a separate viral video where he joked during an oath-taking event that inductees who didn’t know Special Assistant to the President Christopher “Bong” Go won’t get their professional license.
