Rightmove, the online property portal, said that the asking price of homes coming to the market had fallen by £3,660, or 1.2 per cent, this month. Miles Shipside, director and housing market analyst at Rightmove, said: “As we enter the autumn selling season it is usual to see estate agents advising new-to-the-market sellers to push up their asking prices.
