A house fire in Whenuapai has closed sections of Fred Taylor Drive. Emergency services are responding to a house fire in Auckland's Whenuapai. A Fire and Emergency New Zealand spokesman said a single-story, 10 by 15 metre sleepout on Fred Taylor Drive was well-involved in flames on Friday afternoon. A police spokeswoman confirmed emergency services were alerted to the fire at 12:45pm. Auckland Transport said part of Fred Taylor Drive was closed, between Hailes Rd and Northside Drive.
