A bird-loving young man has declared his own home as a bird sanctuary in Satkhira. The announcement was made at 10am on Thursday morning by Satkhira sadar upazila Chairman Asaduzzaman Babu. Initiator Asaduzzaman Sardar said he wanted to create a safe space for birds to roam free without fear of being killed or captured. Barcik organizer Pavel Partho, and General Secretary Nahid Hasan were present during the event.
