That’s the amount Rep. Andrew Clyde (R-Ga.) will have to pay in fines if his pending appeal before the committee is rejected. Clyde “deliberately avoided” security screenings on two separate occasions in February, including one in which he walked around a metal detector, according to the Capitol Police.
