In a rare bipartisan moment, House Democrats joined with Republicans to repeal the “Cadillac tax” on high-cost employer health insurance that was supposed to help pay for the Affordable Care Act. Repealing the unpopular tax is one of the few significant measures related to the landmark health law that has won overwhelming support from lawmakers of both parties. “The resounding, bipartisan passage of legislation repealing the ‘Cadillac Tax’ is a victory for families with job-based health coverage,” said American Benefits Council President James A.
