Family of minor mauled by dog at camp seeks liabilityThe family of a boy mauled by a dog at Crayfish Camp, Naivasha, last year, wants the hotel to own up. Through lawyer Benson Mbuthia, the family is demanding admission of liability from the camp’s director John Ngure. “If there will be no response from Ngure within 14 days, we will institute legal proceedings,” said Mr Mbuthia. While undertaking the training on November 25, last year, their teacher noted that it was getting cold and ordered them to wear sweaters. The boy was first taken to New Kimilili Medical Clinic in Naivasha before his father picked him and took him to MP Shah Hospital.
