Hot and sticky week expected for southern Ontario

It's going to be a hot week in much of southern Ontario. That hot air mass working its way up from the Gulf of Mexico is expected to stick around until Thursday. The special weather statement was issued for Windsor and Essex County, Chatham-Kent and Rondeau Park. Temperatures on Tuesday could reach as high as 33 C for most communities, including Windsor and Chatham-Kent, prompting Environment Canada to issue a special weather statement. Some areas could see a bit of relief throughout the week with the possibility of showers and thunderstorms.
