(CNN) An elite FBI hostage rescue team breached a synagogue in Colleyville, Texas, Saturday night, safely recovering three remaining captives after a nearly 11-hour hostage situation , federal and local officials said. The lone suspect is dead, authorities added. A spokesperson for the UK's Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office told CNN in an email Sunday that it is "in contact with local authorities" in Texas, but provided no other details. President Joe Biden thanked state, local and federal law enforcement for their work in getting the hostages out safely.
