Hostage freed in Bangladesh attack taken into custody after driver’s licence found in terrorist’s pocket


“We have kept him in our custody as he was the faculty of NSU [North South University]. Karim was taken into police custody on Sunday night, and was still being held yesterday. A British hostage who was released by ISIL from the Dhaka restaurant attack is being interrogated by Bangladeshi police over possible links to the terrorists. According to multiple sources, Karim took his A-levels in Britain, before studying civil engineering at Queen Mary University of London. Two people have been arrested over the attack, one of whom is said to be the sole surviving terrorist.
