The billiards competition ended its final day with host team victories in the women's and men's 9-ball doubles. Chinese Taipei took all four gold medals awarded in billiards, a newly added demonstration sport in this Universiade. Wei Tzu-chien and Kuo Szu-ting defeated South Korean pair Jane Yoon-hye and Jeong Eun-su 9-3 to pick up gold. Both of them hoped that billiards could be listed as an official event at the 2019 East Asian Youth Games in Taichung. The two also expressed their thanks for the support of the Wang Jhan Yang Trust and Namchow Chairman Alfred Chen.
