In men's doubles, Chinese Taipei's "Double Lees" (Lee Yang/Lee Jhe-Huei) lost their semifinal match against Japanese pair Tamate Katsuki and Kenya Mitsuhashi, who advanced to face South Korea. In the end, the men's doubles gold went to South Korean's Kim Jaehwan and Seo Seungjae.
