Hospitals have been warned against withholding bodies of patients who succumbed to Covid-19. The current Health Ministry protocols require that all people who die have to be buried within 72 hours of death. Nairobi is on the spot for accounting for the highest number of case in the country with the county having recorded 5,718 cases in the last nine days alone. Nairobi, Kiambu, Nakuru, Machakos, Kajiado, Nyeri and Kericho account for the largest with the seven counties having recorded 9,893 cases in the last nine days alone. Another 60 patients were separately on supplemental oxygen with 48 being in the general wards and 12 in the high dependency unit.
