Students in their hundreds demonstrate outside the Dhaka National Medical Institute Hospital on Sunday following the reported death of a student of Dr Mahbubur Rahman Mollah College due to "wrong treatment". — FE PhotoSeveral thousand protesters, allegedly organised and mostly manpowered by students from different colleges, on Sunday vandalised Dhaka National Medical College (DNMC) hospital after the death of a college student due to 'ineffective treatment', reports bdnews24.com. The deceased, a student of Dr. Mahbubur Rahman Mollah College, died undergoing treatment, according to police. When some students of Government Shahid Suhrawardy College tried to prevent the protesting students, they vandalised an office room of the college, a private car on the college premises and also vandalised Kabi Nazrul Government College. Several journalists were harassed by students, reportedly led by the students of Dr. Mahbubur Rahman Mollah College, while they were covering news about the attacks.
