Hospice at Home West Cumbria is hoping to get more people interested in helping out with the charity. This year Volunteers' Week is made all the more special as it is the 40th anniversary. It’s a chance to recognise, celebrate and thank the UK’s volunteers for all they contribute to their communities. In a post on social media Hospice at Home West Cumbria wrote: "Today marks the start of 'Volunteers' Week' and this year is the 40th anniversary of celebrating all the wonderful volunteers around the country. "This campaign gives us the chance to say thank you to all our wonderful volunteers and encourage more people in the community to make a difference."
