A HORSE behaviour and nutrition expert from Sonning Common has published a book on the link between the two. Geertje French, 68, co-authored Healthy Gut, Healthy Horse, with microbiologist Carol Hughes. The book was published on Saturday and is stocked in Waterstones, Amazon and The Bell Bookshop in Henley. She completed a Level 5 horse behaviour course with The Open College of Equine Studies and said this is where she gained an insight into how nutrition can affect horses’ physical and mental wellbeing. When it gets too much the horse will start showing behavioural problems.”
