"Yeah, I remember that gig," says Nick Atkinson, who's one-half of the duo in question, Hopetoun Brown. I lived on Hopetoun Street in Auckland and Tim lived on Brown Street, so that was the name. Once you started to pile in other people and new sounds, weren't you worried Hopetoun Brown would become, you know… just another band? Hopetoun Brown are performing at WOMAD 2018 (March 16-18), and also playing 36 dates across the country as part of Arts On Tour (April 18th - June 17th).
