They can’t, right? The federal government can’t in its right mind grant the wishes of major league baseball and allow the Blue Jays to have visiting teams traipse across a quasi-closed Canada-US border all summer just so the baseball team can play home games in an empty stadium. I’m not entirely comfortable with the hockey being in two Canadian cities, to tell you the truth. But the NHL at least has a clear, very public plan to handle the troubling issues of the pandemic that I can see it being granted the exemptions that it has been. Look, I hope there’s baseball.
