[Courtesy]Covid 19 Time SeriesODM leader Raila Odinga’s wife Ida celebrated her 70th birthday during an event attended by the who-is-who in the political arena at her home in Karen, Nairobi on Saturday. Later, Ida twitted about the event after which social media was awash with congratulatory messages.Former ODM chairman Henry Kosgey, who was her schoolmate at the University of Nairobi, wished her a long life. There was also a huge card with writings; “Happy birthday Ida Odinga.” Ms Waiguru noted that Ms Odinga has played an important role in development of Kenyan politics. “Mama Ida, you are still young, strong, wise, graceful and selfless,” said the Kirinyaga governor.
