U.S. soccer star Hope Solo is lucky to be alive after suffering a miscarriage which almost cost her her life last year. “@HopeSolo is not tied up in a nice, neat package with a bow, at all,” says Lesle Gallimore, her college coach. “Don’t ever be surprised by anything she says. “The doctor said I was hours from dying,” she recalled to the publication. “They ended up having to remove my fallopian tube.”The 37-year-old has since turned to in vitro fertilisation (IVF) to help her have a child with Stevens, who she wed in 2012.
