Over a dozen students were injured, six critically, in the incident as the hooligans attacked them with canes and hockey sticks after they opposed their moves. According to police, after picking up students from their places, the bus was on way to the school in Chachaipar. In the attack, over a dozen students sustained injuries. Of them, six, including Adityanarayan Singh, Ajit Singh, Atul, Prince Singh, Shreya Singh Aswhini Singh, Rudrapratap Singh are seriously injured. Police said that after hearing screams of students, locals reached the site to rescue them but the assailants managed to flee.
