Share TweetBy Leslie Ann AquinoA week after the May 13 midterm polls, the Commission on Elections (Comelec) said 7.6 percent of teachers who served as electoral boards have been given their honoraria. “We have already started the payments of our electoral boards,” Comelec spokesman James Jimenez said in a press briefing, Monday. “We have pre-scheduled days for the payment of honoraria which is different for every place,” he added. According to the poll official, not all teachers have been able to immediately claim their payment.
