The Immigration Department has been voted the winner of the best airport immigration service award in the World Passenger Survey commissioned by Skytrax for the fourth time this year. A department spokesperson said they expressed gratitude for the appreciation and recognition from international travelers and the professionalism and dedication of front line staff, and will keep striving for excellence and innovation with a view to providing the best immigration service to passengers. Singapore Changi Airport won the World’s Best Airport title for the eighth consecutive year while the Hong Kong International Airport slipped one place to sixth, behind Tokyo Haneda Airport, Hamad International Airport, Incheon International Airport and Munich Airport.
