Hong Kong Airlines Ltd said it had worked out a rescue plan to let it keep flying, after a near-collapse that partly reflects how the city’s travel industry has been hurt by months of protests. Five days earlier, the city’s Air Transport Licensing Authority had given the airline until Saturday to shore up its finances or be stripped of its license. The aviation authority had said it found a rapid deterioration in the carrier’s finances extremely worrying.
