The deceased was identified as Habibur Rahman alias Hafu, 27, from Mirgang village of Shyamnagar upazila of the district. Habibur’s brother Anis Molla said he along with his brother and five others entered the Sundarbans on April 1 to collect honey, reports a correspondent from Satkhira. In a separate incident, another honey collector was injured in a tiger attack at the Satkhira range. According to Rabiul's companions, they all entered the Sundarbans on April 1 to collect honey from the Burigoalini camp.
