Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Pvt Ltd India (HMSI) chief Minoru Kato on Wednesday expressed concern over the Niti Ayog’s proposal to switch to electric two-wheelers by 2025. HMSI has kicked off its BS-VI transition with the launch of the Activa 125 scooter with a programmed fuel injection engine. The BS-VI Activa 125 will be 10-15 per cent costlier than the BS-IV Activa 125. The company will stop producing the BS-IV Activa 125 for domestic sales once it starts the mass production of the BS-VI model from June 16.
