KUALA LUMPUR: Honda Malaysia Sdn Bhd will absorb the six per cent Goods and Services Tax (GST) for purchase of selected Honda models from today until May 31. This is in conjunction with the announcement by the government that GST, currently set at six per cent, will be zero-rated effective June 1. Honda said customers who purchase selected Honda models during the period of May 18 to May 31 will be entitled for the zero-rated GST and the on-going “Welcome Ramadhan Rewards”** Honda bonus. Honda models entitled for the GST Bonus are City (Petrol Variants), Civic, CR-V and HR-V.Other Honda models namely Jazz, BR-V, Accord, Odyssey, Civic Type R, Jazz Hybrid and City Hybrid are not entitled to the GST Bonus but only entitled to the on-going “Welcome Ramadhan Rewards”** Honda bonus. Honda Malaysia will soon announce on its new vehicle pricing in conjunction with Goods and Services Tax (GST), will be zero-rated effective June 1, 2018.
