A male victim who was found injured on Alfred Street has died, becoming the city's 19th homicide of the year. Winnipeg police officers were called to the scene around 9:20 p.m. Sunday night following a report of several people fighting. Police, including the identification unit, have taped off a section of Alfred Avenue in the North End, from Aikins Street to Salter Street. It was the second homicide of the weekend. Shaylnne Marie Hunter, 25, died after a stabbing on Simcoe Street in the West End early Saturday morning.
