The Schaumburg Police Department is announcing Saturday morning, March 4, 2023 that charges have been filed in the homicide of Yvonne Lattouf-Delgado. The suspect, Jesus Gomez-Marcano, and Yvonne Lattouf-Delgado had a previous dating relationship for three years. On March 1, 2023, Gomez-Marcano was at the victim’s residence, during which time Gomez-Marcano allegedly pushed the victim to the ground and stabbed her in the neck. Upon entering the apartment, Schaumburg police officers discovered the body of a deceased female adult victim in the residence. The death involves an open and active homicide investigation being conducted by the Schaumburg Police Detective Division.
