I was driving home from work one evening when I heard an advert for Nightstop South Yorkshire on the radio. When you host with Nightstop, you agree to have a young person facing homelessness come to stay in your house for a night or two. I have had people from all walks of life come through my front door. He’d had a tough family life, things had come to a head and he had been asked to leave by his mum. I asked what he meant, and he said that he’d never been able to just sit down and have a chat with his mum.
