Simon Dudley’s remark, made in a letter to Thames Valley Police, proved unpopular and created significant public backlash. The Ark Project, a charity which until recently was based solely in Reading, has been driving through Windsor this week in a double-decker bus which includes ten beds and a kitchen to prepare warm food.
