A homeless Auckland man who died on his favourite park bench drank "every day" and had a raft of alcohol-related health issues, the Coroner has found. Keith Johnson died aged 57 in St Peter's Anglican Church cemetery, Onehunga, in July 2017. Coroner Shortland's findings showed Johnson had been drinking at the park bench with two friends on June 30, 2017. Just 10 days after Johnson died, homeless man Haami Manahi, 59, was also found dead on steps at the back of Manurewa Methodist Parish in south Auckland.
