The men were sleeping in their tent in Hull when a gang of four men set upon in the early hours of Tuesday October 9, say Humberside Police. It was is thought that a group of four men had assaulted the pair in the tent around 2.30am before returning at 5am and setting upon them again. One of the victims sustained a fractured spine, a fractured arm, bruising and facial injuries and required hospital treatment. The other man sustained bruised ribs and facial injuries. A statement from Humberside Police said: "Three of the suspects have been described as having dark hair, the fourth had blond hair.
