Homeless Bethlehem family inundated with goodwill on Xmas EveMatt Shand Taleni Hauma, his wife Karabino Mauna and one of their children. The family will be having a special Christmas thanks to the community who rallied to provide them with gifts and food. With no mangers in their price range, they turned to a tent to house their family. Whether it was divine intervention, community goodwill, or a combination, Tauranga residents have flooded the family with more than frankincense and myrrh to make Christmas special for the children. Kai Aroha, a group that helps feeds homeless families in Tauranga, shared the Haumas' story to rally the community behind them.
