Defence minister Manohar Parrikar comes home after a tough day at work, what with those Pak-sponsored terrorists playing up in Kashmir and other parts of the country. Ought he to overlook these shortcomings in his household, or ought he to point them out so that these minor derelictions donโt go unchecked and multiply till the entire household becomes a mess? Is it treasonable to point out that a number of things are going wrong in our common household of the Indian republic? It is the obligation of every member of the household of democracy to point out when things are amiss within it. The person who turns his back to the flames, or the one who looks around for a fire extinguisher?
