He made the statement on the 44th anniversary of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP), at the Rajarbagh Police Lines in Dhaka on Wednesday. He said: “Our police have taken Bangladesh to a reliable position in the world in terms of suppressing terrorism and militancy, efficiently. The home minister further said: “For the last two terms of the government, 82,031 police personnel were appointed. They have occupied faith in people’s hearts and regarded as a symbol of confidence.”
