The minister made the remarks while addressing the surrendering ceremony of drug dealers in Cox’s Bazar as the chief guest. The home minister pointed out that Cox’s Bazar was one of the biggest tourist spots in Bangladesh and employment opportunities for locals will continue to grow with the implementation of ongoing development project. He said that the government will do its best to rehabilitate those who surrendered to the law. Till Saturday afternoon, 102 drug dealers surrendered at the event, along with 30 locally made firearms and 350,000 yaba pills.
