The complaints, which have been pouring in since July 6, were with regard to the housing project Mahagun Puram Phase 2, being developed by Mahagun India. Mahagun Puram Phase 2 is situated at NH 24 in Ghaziabad. It has four towers being developed --- Gayatri, Godavari, Narmada and Kaveri. "The builder had promised us in writing that we would be offered possession of Gayatri and Godavari towers by June 30. When this did not happen, our group protested outside the developer's office on July 1," said Amit Chauhan, one of the coordinators of the Mahagun Puram Phase 2 Buyers Group.
