The pilot of a crashed helicopter walked away with minor injuries from the wreckage in a farmer's field near Edmonton Saturday evening. The helicopter went down in a field in Strathcona County near Highway 21 and Township Road 534 at around 5:15 p.m., Transportation Safety Board spokesman Chris Krepski said. The pilot suffered minor injuries. At the time of the crash, the pilot was practising autorotations, a manoeuvre used to land the helicopter in case of engine trouble, he added. "During the practise, he was trying to get his engine going again and had trouble getting engine power.
