The home in Bellevue, Seattle, where Jeff Bezos spent hours in the garage building the very first stages of what would become Amazon has come on the market this week with an asking price of $1.488 million, as reported by The Seattle Times. The home has been considerably rebuilt since 1994 when Bezos rented the place, but the garage where Bezos famously started it all is still intact. "We still have the oversized mailbox where Jeff Bezos ordered all those catalogues," said listing agent Pat Sullivan. Its moment in history even became part of the listing photos, with the arrow point to the garage saying, "The birthplace of Amazon."
