Home Minister Amit Shah arrived in Srinagar today for a three-day visit to Jammu and Kashmir amid heightened security following a spate of targeted civilian killings in recent weeks. This is the Home Minister's first visit to the region since the state was downgraded to a Union Territory by scrapping Article 370 on August 5, 2019.
