Judge Majibur Rahman of the tribunal passed the order on Monday, following a prayer for a production warrant from the prosecution. After a hearing, the court issued the warrant against Mamunur Rashid, who currently is in custody of the Sabujbagh police station under the Anti-Terrorism Act. Special public prosecutor Md Jahangir Alam said that, three prosecution witnesses were present before the court, but as the absconding accused Mamunur Rashid was arrested in another case, the court could not record their testimonies. On January 19, Md Mamunur Rashid alias Ripon alias Rezaul Karim alias Reza, a member of the banned militant outfit Jama'atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB), was arrested from Gazipur, suspected of supplying money, arms and explosives for the militant attack. During which, 22 people including 17 foreign nationals were killed in the terror attack at the restaurant.
