The hole was spotted in Birches Head last week where part of the carriageway had crumbled into it. ‌Residents had estimated the depth of the defect on Hammersley Street was around half-a-metre. ‌We have contacted Stoke-on-Trent City Council for a statement over the hole on Hammersley Street.
