Lavinia and Matale, for the Eric Hulangamuwa Trophy ended in 0-0 draw at Edward Park, Matale. The much anticipated 1st XI encounter for the Eric Hulangamuwa Trophy, commenced with the duration of the game reduced to 20 minutes each half. Lavinia was awarded the Indrawansa Herath Trophy for the Best Player of the 1st XI encounter, while the Eric Hulangamuwa Trophy was shared. The Old Boys clash was played with less intensity and more camaraderie. Wet ground conditions made the Old Boys' game slow and slippery affair.
