Police were crowned winners after coming from behind to defeat Exchequers from Ghana 2-1 in the finals staged at the Sikh Union Club Stadium. The tournament attracted Kenya Hockey Union (KHU) Premier League sides Kenya Police, Strathmore University Gladiators and United States International University - Africa (USIU-A). In 2019, they played friendly matches against Sikh Union, Wazalendo, GreenSharks and Parkroad.
