Hobbiton celebrates pouring its millionth litre of brew


A million litres of brew have flowed through the Hobbiton Movie Set’s pipes since it opened in 2012 and, to celebrate, a new limited edition ale is being added to the mix. Participating venues include Hamilton’s Good George Dining Hall in Frankton and Good Neighbour in Rototuna, Good Union in Cambridge, Good George Tap Room Mission Bay, Good George North Wharf in Auckland, Good Local Tauranga, Good Eastern Taphouse in Rotorua and Good Merchant in Matamata. The competition is open from Thursday, May 13 and the winner will be drawn on June 3 and contacted by Good George Brewing.
