Losing the captain of your hockey team is never a good thing. So when the Calgary Hitmen lost their captain, Mark Kastelic, to a concussion after Game 2, it sent a shockwave through the team’s locker room having already been down 2-0 in the series. “With Mark going out, we had to move some pieces around,” said Hitmen head coach Steve Hamilton. The 16-year-olds in Prokop, Fiddler-Schultz and Korczak have really impressed the team, Hamilton said. Highlights included Hitmen Go Green videos on upcycling, city cleanup, water conservation and alternative energy along with recycling and composting.
