Highlights 1 Marble handicraft industry leaders today met MoS Finance in Agra. 3 Marble handicrafts have been put under 12 per cent GST slab. They demanded that the marble handicraft business be put in the zero-tax slab. EXISTING MECHANISM VS NEW REGIMEAt present the marble handicraft industry is exempt from taxation as per the Excise Notification 17/2011 dated March 1, 2011. Prahalad Agrawal, Ashok Jain Oswal, Ashish Mathur and other prominent names of the Agra handicraft industry was part of the delegation.
